Exceeding the recommended dosage will result in ingestion of more than 10,000 iu of vitamin A from retinol, which in high amounts is known to cause birth defects. Do not use with sulfonamide since paba interferes with the activity of this drug. |

Treat it like a 'shot' of whiskey
Alive! is actually one of the better liquid vitamins on the market. Loaded with vegetables, fruits and green foods, no preservatives, no dairy, vegetarian formula, etc. It has 25 vitamins & minerals, 24 fruits & vegetables, 18 amino acids, 14 green foods, 12 organic mushrooms, 12 digestive enzymes, plus bioflavonoids, EFAs, herbs, nucleic acids and trace minerals.
The packaging is great. The taste isn't the best, nor anything you expect. However...you won't find a better liquid multi vitamin that is as potent as this (at least I haven't found one yet, so until I do...).
Fill the vitamin in the cap and 'shoot' it down, quick and easy. Don't think about it, don't taste it, and heaven forbid, don't swish it around like mouthwash. Chase it with a swig of cranberry juice (the stronger juice taste will override the vitamin taste). The longer you think about it, the more harder it is to swallow.
I prefer the 'shot' method over mixed into a beverage (why prolong the aftertaste?)
When it comes to your health and longevity, the taste of Alive! is really not that bad (I swear, it's bearable).
Sure beats swallowing pills any day! |
